As we approach the end of Autumn it's time to think about those winter wardrobes, and what you want to wear to keep you warm, stylish and feeling good around christmas time

We’re in good spirits, the festive season is upon us, the decorations are up and everyone’s eating chocolates found in windows on a daily basis.

As we retailers have only just been allowed to open our doors once again we thought we’d give you a taste of what we expect to be hot favourites for Christmas this year.

Overcoats

The classic overcoat is an important part of a man’s wardrobe this time of year. And when it gets colder and you come to pull on your existing coat you might find you need an updated version as it has become a little tight on that 2nd button or it’s time for a fresh style or colour.

Even a really good “Crombie style” overcoat can come in a variety of cloths and the style and length gets updated to mirror a fashionable style as the years go by so it’s worth staying current.

Merino & Possum Knitwear

We started stocking Merino & Possum blend knitwear from Noble Wilde of New Zealand over 10 years ago and we’ve been surprised by its growing popularity, with customers returning year after year as we introduce new colours to the range.

The product is warm and cosy when you’re out in the cold thanks to its hollow fibre possum fur properties, and light and comfortable when you’re indoors because of the way it’s woven with the fine merino wool. A Possum pully stays bobble free and looks as good as new for many wears making it a better pullover than its equivalent luxury yet pricier Cashmere counterpart.

Scarves

A scarf is regarded as the perfect gift, it can be worn with almost every winter outfit and if you’re buying one as a gift you don’t have to worry about getting the right size. So it’s really a choice of colour and pattern and this year we have chunky knits as well as smooth brushed scarves in bright colours or a more subdued palette.

From £25

Bamboo Gift Sets

As a special extra accompaniment to the bamboo sock collection we offer throughout the year, Swole Panda have introduced a Christmas Panda gift set featuring an exclusive panda design which isn’t sold separately. These sets are available in 2 colours – Red or Blue and they come in a beautiful presentation box making wrapping extra simple.

A Fish Named Fred Shirts

These fishy shirts are quite lively and new to Heaphys this season. Not only are the patterns bold but they’re based on art by painters from the brand’s native Holland. Each shirt is made from a stretch cotton fabric and features lots of details such as contrast inner collars and under cuffs and “A Fish Named Fred” embroidery.

£79.95
These are the 5 gifts we think will be most popular this year but we don’t have a crystal ball. You will find many other amazing gifts in-store at Heaphys this year as we love helping to make your Christmas time special.

As a bonus (and to save you time) we can now wrap your purchases in our very own special Heaphys wrapping paper.

All part of the service you get at a small independent store.
